MEGAN ALFANO

My name is Megan Alfano, I am the founder of Alfano Law Firm. I was born and raised in Kansas City, and I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where I also attended law school.

My career began in the fields of criminal and family law. Early in my career, I helped establish a non-profit organization aimed at assisting low-income families with guardianships and family planning—a cause that has always been close to my heart. Later, I established Support on the Spectrum to assist parents and caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum with real local resources.

In 2020, after the loss of family members and the birth of my son, my professional focus shifted in a more profound direction toward probate and estate planning including special needs planning.

My Story

My husband and I welcomed our son in 2020, and shortly after we faced many challenges. In 2022 he received his Autism diagnosis. It was clear that we needed to do everything in our power to support him and secure his future.

There is a significant gap in the planning resources available for families. As a result, I shifted my practice fully to probate and adult guardianships as well as estate, special needs, and elder law planning.

As a parent, advocate, and attorney, I am committed to creating solutions that work for families, ensuring they have the legal and financial protections your family deserves.

I look forward to collaborating with you!
